A typical food bowl situated in the middle of the cage quickly becomes dirty due to soiled beddings and animal wastes being kicked or dragged into the bowl by your small animals.
Traditional food bowls occupy a significant amount of space, limiting the available area for small animals to roam or use hideys— this is particularly problematic for smaller cages.
Feeding your pets daily shouldn’t mean constantly dirtying your hands. Yet, a traditional bowl in the cage’s center, buried in soiled bedding, forces you to pick it up, empty it, and get your hands dirty every time.
Dirty food means discarding it along with the waste when cleaning the bowl, resulting in a considerable amount of wasted food. Typical food bowls are prone to being kicked over or knocked out of their fastening place, leading to more wasted food and the inconvenience of fixing them.
Our food feeder is wall-mounted, conserving valuable space in the cage.
Our wall-mount and long-strip feeder design encourages guinea pigs to face you while eating, offering the delightful opportunity to observe them enjoying their food side by side—a clear view of their adorable eating habits. This unique experience is rarely achievable with a traditional food bowl placement, but with our feeder, you get to enjoy this every time!
Our feeder is securely fastened by brackets and screws, ensuring it won’t be knocked over or displaced. Elevated from the ground, the feeder remains clean and free from animal droppings and bedding, preventing food contamination and waste. Daily feeding can now be done without the need to dig up the bowl, empty it, and get your hands dirty.
Our feeder is versatile enough to handle veggies, thanks to drain slots on the bottom that allow vegetables to be consumed dry.
Our feeder is appropriately sized for small animals, preventing overeating—a common issue with larger bowls. A guinea pig should be fed about 1/8 cup of pellets per day. Using a larger bowl may be convenient for owners, but it causes overeating. Additionally, having constant leftovers in the bowl exposes the pellets to air, causing them to lose flavor and freshness. This leads to a loss of appetite and contributes to even more food waste.
This feeder is compatible with GuineaLoft Model-A, Model-P, Model-C cages. For Version 3 cages or older, you can purchase a T4 panel from our Amazon store for installation. Additionally, this feeder is suitable for use with any wire grid cages.
